Yesterday we made this cute little flag from craft sticks. I found this craft at: http://www.enchantedlearning.com/crafts/july4/craftstickflag/ It was easy to make and is a cute decoration for Memorial Day.
First you paint the craft sticks red and white. Then you glue them together adding a couple in the opposite direction to the back to make it sturdy. Then you glue a rectangle of blue construction paper to the upper left hand corner.
Next you add little star stickers (the kind you use on reward charts).
Then you are done and you have a simple but cute Memorial Day craft.
